May 18th – May 24th is Dementia Awareness Week. It’s a time to raise awareness about dementia and help educate the public, advocate for better care and provide resources for caregivers and their families.  A report from theworlddata.com finds in 2026 7.4 million Americans aged 65 and older are estimated to have Alzheimer’s Disease, which accounts for the majority of dementia cases in the United States.
