A community wellness and vaccination event was held in Russell on Wednesday, October 29th. Highland Valley Elder Services took part as employees Ripley Newburgh and Rafael Rivas spoke to those who attended about the services the agency provides. The event was held at 155 Highland Avenue in Russell. The Baystate WOW (Wellness on Wheels) bus offered people blood pressure checks, as well as diabetes screening and Stop & Shop will provide vaccinations.
