Mass Aging Access Conference

Highland Valley Elder Services took part in the Mass Aging Access Fall Conference held in Boxboro today. Highland Valley’s Executive Director Allan Ouimet led a group of employees to the annual conference, which explored AI & Technology, MassHealth, hospital-at-home initiatives, caregiving and improvements across the state’s aging service network. It was a good way for colleagues to connect, share new ideas and learn from each other as they face today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities. Dr. Kiame Mahaniah, the Secretary of Health and Human Services in Massachusetts, was the keynote speaker. For two decades, Dr. Mahaniah has helped shape health care initiatives in community health settings across Massachusetts. Kelly Ensor, Highland Valley’s Associate Director of Quality Assurance co-presented at the conference with Dawn Hobill, the Director of Quality at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Aging & Independence (AGE) as they spoke about “Supporting a Culture of Quality Improvement.”

This is just one way how Highland Valley Elder Services is committed to bringing the highest quality of care to older adults in the 24 Hampden & Hampshire County communities we serve.
