Spring Heat

Some Spring heat has arrived and it’s important to be safe when the temperatures soar. Make sure you stay hydrated and find a cool place during the heat of the day. Many local senior centers are a great source for relief from the hot weather. One important piece of advice is to drink plenty of water throughout the day, don’t wait until you feel thirsty! Fruits and vegetables are a good source of water too, try adding watermelon, oranges, strawberries and cucumbers to your diet.
