Let’s Spring into March! March is National Nutrition Month. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics wants to promote the powers of healthy food choices and the importance of a balanced diet. Spring officially begins March 20th. Now is a good time to think about shedding those heavy, winter comfort foods, things we all love. Try mixing up your meals with lighter, fresh foods. Incorporate colorful fruits and vegetables, leafy greens, foods with high water content (like melons and cucumbers), fish and chicken into your diet. We’ll be offering nutrition tips throughout March. Get ready for Spring!
