Personal Care & Homemaker Services

Access to essential health services, and the ability to keep one’s home tidy and clean, are vital components of independent living. Personal Care Plans include additional health services such as skilled nursing, home health care and physical therapy. This program enables qualified adults over the age of 60 to hire personal care workers to provide day and overnight assistance. The personal care workers may assist the clients with preparation of meals, daily hygiene and dressing, and more.

Highland Valley Elder services will work with families to match needs with appropriate Home Care personnel. Our “Take Charge” program also allows qualified individuals the make the choice to hire and supervise their own Home Care workers.

These services may also be of interest to those in the Personal Care Assistance Program:

It’s All About Choices

Our Home Care services are available to eligible elders aged 60 and over.

Quality long living sometimes means getting a little help in your home. That's where Highland Valley's Care Advisors and Nurses can enter the picture.

We work with elders and their families to design care plans that provide what they need, in order to manage care at home.

And once a care plan is in place we regularly support you, and offer guidance about additional services if needed.
