June 27th, 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of Highland Valley Elder Services!

Allan Ouimet, Executive Director, Highland Valley Elder Services has this message marking five decades of service to older adults.

“It is a remarkable and rare achievement to celebrate a nonprofit agency’s fifty-year milestone. Highland Valley Elder Services has provided a half century of uninterrupted service to our consumers. Our unwavering focus on the needs of older adults to allow for choice and independence continues to stand the test of time. We appreciate the partnerships with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Executive Office of Aging and Independence and the Federal government’s Older American Act grants from which the agency has long benefited. We will always advocate for the needs of the people we serve and partner with providers to achieve our goals. We hope the programs offered to those in need continue to be strengthened and offered continuously as we see the benefit and value of the programs. We truly appreciate the dedication and service of all the employees and volunteers who helped fulfill the mission of Highland Valley Elder Services for fifty years. We are excited about the opportunities ahead and we will continue to do everything possible to achieve our mission for the benefit of the people we serve.
