May 6th – May 12th is National Nurses Week
Highland Valley Elder Services honors our nurses on National Nurses Day, May 6th! Thanks to our dedicated nurses for their work throughout the year! There are over 3 million working nurses in the United States. Nurses make up the highest percentage of the US Healthcare workforce. If you think nurses are only found in hospitals, they aren’t. The majority of registered nurses, 59% practice in nursing homes, at home visits, or in other health organizations. National Nurses Week runs until Monday May 12th.
