A fresh bag of produce was delivered to some of Highland Valley’s consumers who receive our Home Delivered Meals. Thanks to Outlook Farm Barn & Eatery in Westhampton for supplying 189 bags filled with peaches, apples, peppers, yellow squash and zucchini. The produce bags are part of the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources program/MDAR. The produce bags are targeted for our Home Delivered Meals program. Distribution is based on a few items, including income level. This is the first of two deliveries going out. The next delivery of 189 produce bags will be in mid-September.
