Highland Valley Elder Services joined in on a special program, “Meeting the Moment: A Community Conversation and Resource Fair” at the Northampton Senior Center Tuesday. State Representative Lindsay Sabadosa (D, 1st Hampshire District) led the information session. State Representative Sabadosa is part of the Massachusetts Permanent Commission on the Status of Persons with Disabilities. These community information sessions are being held across the state to discuss concerns about housing, employment, transportation, long-term services and health equity. Individuals with disabilities, families, caregivers, providers and advocates took part in the event. Highland Valley attended the event for insight into what people in our service area are most concerned about when it comes to their well-being.
