Nutrition and Hydration Week takes place from March 16th to 22nd. The goal is to raise awareness on how food and drink can preserve our well-being. Adults over 60 should drink about 9 cups of fluids per day for women and 13 cups for men. The total includes drinking water and beverages and the foods you eat. Remember don’t wait until you are thirsty to drink water. Foods like watermelon, cucumber, and strawberries are water-rich and can boost your daily water intake.
