Enhance the dedicated grandparent support at the Amherst Family Center by incorporating two new initiatives into the Grandparent Drop-In Program. The first initiative includes recruitment for, and creation of, a facilitated group dedicated exclusively to grandparent concerns. The second initiative will spotlight recruiting and training grandparent peer mentors to serve as front line peers. These two new initiatives complement and enhance the Center's regularly scheduled drop-in weekday, weekend, and Monday evening programming that support grandparents.
